Was it insensitive for Obama to make a joke?
At the big press dinner, Obama made a joke about Mr Cheney
writing a book about shooting someone in the face ( or something
to that effect ). Everyone knows he was with one of his best friends
and that it was an accident and how badly Cheney must have felt.
Think about it this way......what if you and your friend went hunting
and you accidently shot your friend....it would be insenstive for someone to make a joke about it (especially the Pres. of the U.S.
who's every word makes the news).
Oh, there are plenty of mistakes to laugh
about on both sides, but there's also bad
humor and wishing someone would die
and/or joking about a friend who almost
killed his friend, just isn't funny or a class
act.
Where is the link to prove Cheney and
his friend were drunk, or did you just
make that up?
